Glass etching is the most effective way to fix scratches on plastic lens glasses, but it can be a little more costly. Any commonly available glass etching cream containing hydrofluoric acid can do the job on plastic eyeglasses.
Apply a thick coat of glass etching cream on the lenses' surface and let it settle for around 5 minutes without scratching the lenses. Then, rinse the cream off with cold water and wipe dry with a clean cotton cloth or towel. If the cream is left on the lenses for longer than 5 minutes, it can permanently damage them.

The white vinegar is used to clean lots of things at home, including your glass. First, mix the baking soda and vinegar and wait for the foam to settle. Then, apply the paste to the scratched lenses using a cotton ball or microfiber cloth, rinse the paste off and repeat the process.
Replacing water with vinegar is more effective in cleaning plastic eyeglasses. Vinegar will make your eyeglasses look bright and transparent.
Alcohol alone won't help clean your glasses. A better approach is to combine rubbing Alcohol with an abrasive, such as baking soda. Rubbing an alcoholic abrasive can remove scratches from the glasses. It is a good option for cleaning your glasses even if there are no scratches, although it is more expensive than the other ways mentioned above.
